Why youtube?

I think anyone whos read this blog will find it a bit unattractive, weird or even useless.

Why do I only put up youtube links? Why dont I put up download links? Why bother going here when I can find everything on youtube?

The main point to remember is that I want this blog to be totally legal and I believe we should support the music industry (though I cannot be 100% unguilty of doing this)

Ill try to address some of these questions:

  1. Youtube has enough videos so that even if you spent your entire life (literally every second) watching it, you wouldnt finish the amount of videos there. Probably not 1/100th.
  2. Secondly, while we may have forgotten how technology and internet has become so accessible, we should remember Youtube was one of the sites that pioneered the online video sites and made in mainstream. Anyone with Adobe flash player and a web browser can view it.
  3. Youtube also blocks and deletes any files that infringes on copyrights, if the network/broadcaster/publisher tells them to. So I consider everything on Youtube to be legal until deleted.
  4. By offering download links, this blog may be closed and I would be support illegal infringement of copyrights.
  5. Finally, its VIDEO! Live performances and PVS tend to make the music sound much better (you can see the passion on the singers face) and this enhances the way I percieve the music.

So with all that said, a quick recap: Its legal, theres video, its accessible to everyone, we arent infringing on copyrights and this blog can never be shutdown

YAY!!!
